Welcome to The 2014 The Hall of Fame Adventure Ride with Rob Dingman In conjunction with the AMA National Convention, AMA Hall of Fame and AIMExpo! Join us Saturday October 18... ...for a 150+ mile Adventure Ride through the rolling hills of Central Florida! You'll be covering paved and dirt roads of the area exploring the REAL Florida! You'll travel to the highest point on the Florida Peninsula, visit a Florida winery, and see so much more! Lunch will be provided and gas is available on the route (on own). This event is suitable for all brands of dual sport and adventure motorcycles,  encompassing paved roads and dirt roads through the Florida countryside. So if you travel by Yamaha XT225 or a Triumph Tiger Explorer, you can have a great time with a bunch of fellow dual sport and adventure riders! The question people ask most is: "Will there be sand on the roads?" The answer is: "Yes, this is Florida." This is a 60/40 type road ride (paved/dirt), very scenic and a whole lotta fun! But if you want to avoid the dirt roads, we'll have a special paved-only option via GPS only (no route sheet). This will be made available to pre-registered riders only! Miss Linda has said she'll cook lunch for everyone! Just ask about Miss Linda to any DixieDualSport rider and you'll hear it! We won't spoil your surprise but just be prepared to eat! This year's event will donate to the AMA Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame recognizes those that have made an impact in the sport of motorcycling throughout their lifetimes. And it just so happens that the Induction Ceremonies are Friday Night in Orlando in conjunction with the AIMExpo! Let's talk about registering! As with all DixieDualSport events, pre-register to get a free event t-shirt! All riders and passengers who register by October 1 will receive a t-shirt. After October 1 you're out of luck! So pre-register! GPS tracks, coordinates, and route sheets will be made available on-line to pre-registered riders only. If you wait until day-of the event, you will only get a route sheet (While supply lasts).
